Middle-grade fantasy

Charlie and the Not-a-Cat

Days before the biggest test of Charlie’s life, a gnomish figure searches his backpack, a clock that hasn’t ticked in years mysteriously starts working, and a cat speaks to him, imploring Charlie for help finding mythical creatures in his ordinary town. To connect these strange puzzle pieces, Charlie must solve a riddle and open a portal to a place wilder than his dreams – and Charlie likes to dream. What starts as a curiosity with the cat leads to a perilous, puzzle-filled adventure with the fate of two worlds hanging in the balance.
